Malcom McKellar grew up on Roblin Blvd. close to the Park. He worked several jobs including landscaping and Canada Packers. He was in business school when he enlisted in 1942. One of his brothers was already in the RCAF. He was flying on only his second sortie in a Halifax bomber with the 419 Squadron on Nov. 21st, 1943 over Germany when his plane was reported missing. None of the crew survived the crash.
