Norris Magnusson grew up with his sister and brothers in Charleswood. He attended Chapman and Charleswood schools and played many sports including hockey, golf and softball. After working a variety of jobs including; working for the CNR, a Power company, a truck driver and electric bus operator, he enlisted in 1941. He died May 28th, 1943 while serving with the 428 Bomber Squadron flying a Wellington. Only brother Norm survived to return home.
