We are excited to announce our upcoming Discover Our Community Day, as a part of our Fall Festival weekend, and it is an event designed to showcase the incredible organizations that make our area vibrant, welcoming, and full of opportunities.
This special day will provide local residents with the chance to learn more about the valuable work being done in our community, connect with the people behind the organizations, and perhaps even find a new cause, group, or activity they’d like to join.
We would be honoured to have Charleswood Legion participate in this event. Your presence will help community members:
- Learn more about your mission and services
- Ask questions and connect with your team directly
- Discover ways to get involved, volunteer, or become a member
Presented by Evan Duncan, City Counsellor
Date: Sunday, September 28th
Time: 10:00 am-3:30pm
Location: Roblin Park Community Centre
Participation is free, and we will provide space for you to display materials, share information, and interact with attendees. Our hope is to host outside, on the community centre grounds- weather permitting.
If you are interested in participating, please let us know by September 16th so we can reserve your spot. You can reply to this email (lmclenehan@gmail.com) or contact me at 204-297-6639.
We believe this event will not only strengthen community awareness but also help foster new partnerships and collaborations. We hope you’ll join us in making it a success.
