EARLY BIRD CAMPAIGN
Our new membership cards for 2019 are ready for sale
Starting September 1, 2018.
The Early Bird Campaign runs from September 1st, to November 30th.
There will be four Early Bird Membership Draws for 2019 dues during the months of September, October and November for a total of 12 membership draws.
Pay before September 30th and you have
12 chances to win.
Pay before October 31st and you have
8 chances to win.
Pay before November 30th and you have
4 chances to win.

Branch dues for 2019 begins in September with the Early Bird Draw Campaign, and members should be renewed by January 01st. Those members not renewed by January 31st your membership will not be in good standing. This will not allow you to participate in branch activities, including the membership daily draw and delivery of the Legion Magazine will be suspended.
If you cannot make it down to the Legion, please mail in your dues along with a self-addressed and stamped envelope and we will be pleased to mail your membership card to you. You may also pay your dues on line.
To renew your membership for 2019 the dues are as follows:
ORDINARY, ASSOCIATE and AFFILIATE are: $50.00
SENIORS (65 and over) are: $50.00
ALL NEW MEMBERS are: $55.00
Please ensure that we have your most current mailing address, phone number etc. on file. We will use this information to update our files at the branch and Dominion Command. Some of our members have not been receiving their Legion Magazine, and correspondence from our office or from Dominion Command, due to incorrect mailing address and/or phone number.
Forms for change of address etc. is located at the front desk by the membership daily draw sign in sheet. Please submit updated information to bar staff or office staff.
NOVEMBER 11TH REMBERENANCE DAY
This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the signing of the Armistice to end the First World War. The Great War, The War to end all Wars.
There are no veterans of the First World War left to tell the stories of courage and sacrifice, of the cold and wet and the fear.
The Second World War only a generation later, Korea, the Middle East, Africa, Vietnam, Bosnia, Afghanistan, the list goes on.
And the old warriors fade away.
As Members of the Royal Canadian Legion it our Obligation and our Duty to ensure that the sacrifices of the Men and Women of our Armed Forces are not forgotten. Current serving personal, also need us to continue to support and fight for the benefits they are entitled to.
This Remembrance Day please make an extra effort to, Volunteer with a service; distribute Poppies, or help a shut in get to a service.
Remember: A Veteran is A Veteran is A Veteran.
